Sparrow Application Accepted

There are a few steps to complete before you can start volunteering at Sparrow.

1.  Review the position descriptions at

2.  Select the unit you want to volunteer and make sure the unit's day and times fit with your schedule.  Also units at the St Lawrence campus are not bus friendly and you will need your own transportation to get there.

3.  Schedule your unit interview at 

4.  You must complete and bring with you the following items.  If you do not bring all the required information, you will be asked to reschedule and will not be able to complete your interview.

A.  Online Orientation:

  2. Section 2
  3. Section 3
  4. Section 4
  5. Section 5

B.  Take the Orientation Quiz at and print out the last page and bring to the interview.

C.  Schedule a TB Test and bring proof of the negative results to the interview. TB Test Information Sheet 

D. If you plan on volunteering in the Mother/Baby Unit, OB Special Care or the Pediatrics, you will need to bring proof of your MMR Vaccination to the interview.

E.  Bring your College ID and Drivers License or State ID to the Interview.

F.  Bring your Schedule (class, work, etc.) to the interview.
