The MSU Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (CSLCE) supports university faculty and academic staff across all colleges and majors in creating community engaged learning opportunities.
Services and support offered include:
- Facilitation of university-community partnersships
- Faculty development workshops
- Curriculum planning and development assistance
- Student orientations
- A Service-Learning Toolkit to assist MSU faculty and instructors in creating service-learning courses
- Tools of Engagement, a web-based curriculum on community engaged learning
- Student registration database

Friday 9/7 - Criminal background check forms due to 345 Student Services Building by 5:00pm
Monday 9/10 - Registration opens on servelearnengage.msu.eduat 12:01 am.
Friday 9/14 - Registration closes on servelearnengage.msu.edu at 11:59 p.m.
Saturday 9/15-Wed. 9/19 - Students complete online orientation via D2L
Monday 9/24-Friday 9/28 - Students begin community engagement
October 2019 - Situated Spartan: Power & Privilege seminars (2 hours) Dates & Times To Be Determined
Monday 12/3-Friday 12/7 - Students conclude community engagement
