Break The Silence Poster Project

The Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (CSLCE) decided to continue the #BreakTheSilence movement. We want students, staff, faculty, and community members to share some thoughts on a poster about a social justice issue that they are passionate about.  We want participants not only to create a poster, but to Show It, Discuss It, and Act on It. Thank you for your interest in this meaningful project. This is a great way to gather a group, and have a discussion about issues important to us in today’s society. We will supply the Posters and Markers, so please Join the Michigan State Community in Breaking The Silence.

The CSLCE will provide the posters and markers all you have to do is follow 3 easy steps:

1. Click here and fill out the request form for materials etc. Come by Room 345 Student Services Building to collect your materials.

2. Download this facilitators guide (given to the facilitator to help guide the project) and this one-page participant guide (given to the participants to help them understand the project) attached.

3. When the project is completed, and if individuals would like their posters displayed at the Break the Silence MSU Museum exhibit, please bring your poster to Room #345 Students Services Building.
