Current Community Engaged Learning Questionnaire
Thanks for showing interest in our 2016-2017 Community Engaged Learning Questionnaire!
Each year, the Office of the President requests that the Center for Service Learning and Civic Engagement (CSLCE) report on the number of students engaged in curricular service-learning, civic engagement, and volunteer activities. In the past the reported figures have been reflective of the activities registered in the CSLCE's database. We are aware that there is significant work being done independent of the CSLCE and that has not been recorded in our database.
The CSLCE is committed to building relationships with all MSU units who are committed to community engaged teaching and learning, civic engagement, and student volunteerism. In addition to reporting the required information to the Office of President, we hope to gain a better understanding of the types of support resources academic units may desire to continue their work. We believe that recognizing campus efforts and reporting accomplishments are of the utmost importance. You will be able to enter multiple projects if needed.
In addition to fulfilling this campus-wide reporting requirement, the CSLCE is working to develop an annual Community Engaged Learning Index. This report provides our campus with annual data by college and/or division, will be shared broadly, and will assist in determining what resources and supports the center may offer to sustain and advance this work in the future.
