Michigan Energy Options

Michigan Energy Options is a non-profit organization that provides environmental information to the Greater Lansing Community. Founded in 1978 to provide creative solutions to the energy crisis of the seventies, we are now a strong building block of the community when it comes to environmental resources. We address a broad spectrum of energy and environmental concerns including healthy homes, energy efficient remodeling, urban gardening, recycling, and renewable energy. The Environmental Demonstration House serves as a location for classes, meetings, and Urban Options staff. Program design and development is provided by an active Board of Directors. Urban Options has volunteer opportunities in the business, communication, and science and the environment programs.
