Power & Privilege Seminars

These two hour seminars illustrate how understanding and being sensitive to the differences in levels of power and privilege will help students engage more effectively with people in the community. The seminars feature interactive exercises that enable students to become more aware of their actions and thoughts, which allows them to respect and honor differences in people and ideas. Learning these concepts will assist students as they engage with the community during their service-learning experience and beyond. Power and Privilege seminars are offered multiple times each semester. For more information, contact servlrn@msu.edu.
